With the Acer Ferrari One premium netbook having recently made a pit stop at CNET Towers, Rory Reid shows you its finer points in this video review. You'll either love or hate the garish red lid emblazoned with the Ferrari logo, but this 11.6-inch machine's speedy performance, affordable price tag, and comfortable design are far less likely to divide opinion. Overall, it gets the green light from us.

In this video review, Rory Reid gets up close and personal with the 15.6-inch Asus UX50V thin and light laptop. There's no denying that this is a stunning-looking machine, although some attractive design features, such as the mirrored trackpad and reflective screen, actually detract from the overall user experience. It's not a speed demon either, but its battery life is impressive and its looks will certainly inspire jealousy among your friends and colleagues.

In this video, CNET.com's Dan Ackerman takes a look at Apple's updated 15-inch MacBook Pro. Although the company hasn't made any radical changes, a number of small modifications -- for example, a better battery and the addition of an SD card slot -- make this a worthwhile update. Apple's also cut the price of the base configurations, sweetening the deal.

Rory Reid takes a look at the ultra-slim MSI X340 laptop in this video review. Clearly inspired by Apple's MacBook Air, the X340 looks gorgeous and sports more ports than its more expensive rival. Unfortunately, rubbish battery life, a poor keyboard and relatively unimpressive performance let this laptop down badly.

The 13-inch aluminium unibody MacBook has been promoted to join the MacBook Pro family -- CNET.com's Dan Ackerman takes us through the laptop's new additions in this video. The 13-inch Pro regains its missing FireWire port, making it even more useful for creative professionals on the go, although the SD card slot is a more consumer-oriented feature. A backlit keyboard and a boosted battery complete the package -- hit play to see more.

In this video review, Rory Reid sings the praises of the 18.4-inch Asus W90 gaming laptop. This hulking monstrosity is expensive and you'll need to be on steroids to pick it up, but it's the fastest gaming laptop we've ever tested, as well as being well-designed and sensationally well-equipped. It's an epic machine.

Join Rory Reid of CNET UK in this video review of the Samsung N120 netbook. Despite being a very cheap laptop, it has an amazingly long battery life of up to 10 hours alongside a 10-inch display and a subwoofer. The screen is a glossy model and the keyboard is nearly full-size. Watch our video to find out more.

Rory Reid casts an eye over the 17-inch MSI GT725 gaming laptop in this video review. Although the GT725 looks as if it's been vomited on, it's a fast performer capable of handling hardcore gaming titles and multitasking. At around £1,300, it's a good package for those who need high performance but can't afford the likes of an Alienware laptop.

In this video review, Rory Reid takes a look at the 10.1-inch Asus Eee PC 1000HE. It's the best netbook so far for users on the move, thanks to an extremely impressive battery life and a keyboard that's good enough to touch type on. It also looks stylish and is a commendable performer, making this the netbook to beat

In this video review, Dan Ackerman of CNET UK sister site CNET.com gets his hands on a pre-production version of Dell's high-end, ultra-thin, 13-inch Adamo laptop. The Adamo has plenty of appealing visual touches and is remarkably slender, although it's heavier than you might expect. Dell claims it's the world's thinnest laptop, but the tapered MacBook Air, at its narrowest part, just has the edge. Nevertheless, the Adamo looks set to give the Air a run for its money.
