Motorola Aura

Motorola's design-centric Aura flip phone was inspired by high-end watches, according to the company. It is the only phone with a completely circular display and, though weighty -- it's made of stainless steel -- the Aura feels sturdy and solidly built. Features include a 2-megapixel camera, music player, messaging, email and organiser tools. The Aura is available in the US for $1,999 (£1,360), while UK availability and pricing are yet to be revealed.
