Snowboarding Gadgets: Tested in the Alps

We certainly went out of our way to review the latest technology this winter. We tested this season's top snowboarding gadgets in the Alps, braving sub-zero temperatures, in a blizzard, near the top of the Matterhorn. Our test subjects included the Samsung VP sports camcorder -- which we used for filming, plus the Burton Audex Jacket and a new impact-resistant fabric, incorporating d3o technology, which hardens on impact, protecting the wearer with the strength of body armour during the inevitable wipeouts.
